Suppressed content remains in your project, but is not visible by users in published collections and can be published again at any time. Additionally, you can delete items individually or in batch from your project. We recommend suppressing content before deleting it from your project.
Suppressing items in a collection
To suppress from the menu:
- Select the items in the item panel by checking the box to the left of the thumbnail. You can also use Shift+Click to select consecutive items or Ctrl+Click (PC) or Command+Click (Mac) to choose non-consecutive items.
- Select Suppress from the Actions Bar. Alternatively, you can right click on your selected items and then select Suppress Selected Records.
- Select the collections from which you would like to remove the content and then select Suppress.
To suppress all items in your project:
- Check the top box to select all images and click Edit on the Menu.
- Confirm the number of items you are editing.
- From the edit tab, select the Options menu and then Suppress.
- Select the collections from which you would like to remove the content and then select Suppress.
Deleting items from a project
To delete items:
- First, follow the instructions above to suppress any published content you want to delete.
- Verify that the content has been suppressed from the publishing destination before continuing.
- You can delete all items or a select number of items. To delete a subset of items, select the items in the item panel by checking the box to the left of the thumbnail or by selecting the top box to select all. You can also use Shift+Click to select consecutive items or Ctrl+Click (PC) or Command+Click (Mac) to choose non-consecutive items.
- From the Actions Bar, select Delete. From the edit page, you can also select the Options menu then Delete. Alternatively, you can right click on your selected items and then select Delete Selected Records.
- Confirm you want to delete the number of items by selecting Delete again. Your content will be removed from your project.
