JSTOR is currently offering on-demand updates for harvesting participants. These on-demand updates to a harvested collection will be at request only. A harvested collection is content that we harvested from a provided URL or content sent via FTP. This is only for contributors who have paid for the harvesting service.
These update requests include:
- Adding content to a collection.
- Removing content from a collection.
- Changing the media file (pdf, jpg, tiff) and/or metadata in a collection.
Collection harvesting supports Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) endpoints and File Transfer Protocol (FTP). It is compatible with repositories like CONTENTdm, Bepress, Omeka, and DSpace.
To request an update to a collection, please contact contributors@jstor.org.
Please allow at least 30 days for the content to be processed and published to the JSTOR platform.
