When you initially create a collection in the collection loader, you select an access level for it: visible only to members of your institution or to anyone on the open web. You can see the access level of a collection above its thumbnail on the Collections page.
While there's not a setting to toggle a collection's access level from institutional to open or vice versa, you can recreate your collection with the desired access level.
- First, delete your collection from the Collections page.
- Verify that your collection has been removed from JSTOR before continuing.
-
Create a new collection with the desired access level.
- If you're using the same collection name and you receive an error about an existing collection with the same name, it may still be in the process of being deleted. Please allow for additional time and try again, or contact contributors@jstor.org for assistance.
- Publish your collection.
